Whether you minimize your carbon footprint by taking the bus instead of driving or it’s organizing a recycling drive, you have a passion for conservation in big and small ways. At Everglades University, we share that passion. That’s why we offer the Bachelor of Science with a major in Sustainability.
Our bachelor’s program in sustainability is designed to help students build a foundation and expertise in how to apply sustainability principles in any industry and at every level. Students will cover the gamut of sustainability issues—environmental science, public policy, community planning, public health and sustainable business practices. Graduates will come away with the professional and personal skills needed to pursue careers as sustainability leaders, consultants, researchers, environmental analysts and more in public service or private enterprise.
Explore what make sustainability a vital force in your industry with a curriculum that can include, but is not limited to, courses such as:
- Environmental Impact Analysis
- Marketing for a Sustainable World
- Cost of Sustainability
- US Environmental Policy and Management
- Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Sustainability
- International Development and Sustainability
A capstone course is also required to help students better internalize the skills and knowledge delivered in the program.
