Marine Resources Management

Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Resources Management

The Bachelor of Science degree program with the Marine Resources Management major from Everglades University prepares students for career opportunities in the natural resource management of marine, coastal and wetland environments. Through coursework on environmental science, business and management, this program gives students a thorough understanding of the policies that govern these natural resources, as well as the ecological impact human interactions present in these environments. Students will also explore how business, environmental science and policy should interact in order to develop sustainability solutions that meet today’s need and ensure tomorrow’s promise.

In addition to the foundational coursework of a liberal arts education, students will take a number of upper-level, degree-focused courses regarding environmental policy, change and sustainability. Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Estuaries & Coastal Ecology
  • U.S. Environmental Policy & Management
  • Coastal Environmental Management
  • Environmental Technology & Management
  • GIS Data Analysis & Mapping
  • Marine Resources Sustainability
